Our Team

blake c. davis

Blake is the founder and principal of Davis Valuation, LLC. Blake is a state certified general appraiser within the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Georgia, and holds a broker license within the state of Texas. He has been involved in the real estate business since 2005, when he started as an appraiser trainee at BBG, Inc. (formerly Butler Burgher Group), a nationally respected full-service appraisal firm. After an extensive certification process, Blake became a certified general appraiser by the state of Texas, and quickly focused on national apartment portfolios and single and multi-tenant industrial and office properties.

In 2010, Blake co-founded Huey Davis Group, a multifaceted appraisal and consulting firm that concentrated on local and regional banks, as well as individuals in need of consulting and valuation expertise. Huey Davis Group proved to be a successful venture growing from just two appraisers to eight appraisers and two office staff, with offices in Dallas and Austin. The client list increased from a handful to several dozen that routinely submitted orders and sent Huey Davis Group all over the country completing assignments. Davis Valuation, LLC represents an effort to continue the momentum experienced by Huey Davis Group, but with a greater focus on the customer service aspect of the appraisal industry.

brandon k. moore

Brandon is a senior associate with Davis Valuation, LLC. He has been with Davis Valuation since the company’s founding and spent the six previous years with Huey Davis Group in a similar role. He has been instrumental in the company's sustained growth by quickly adapting to new roles and tasks, including extensive experience with a range of residential, commercial, and affordable housing work. Currently, Brandon acts as the primary researcher and analyst for Davis Affordable Housing Advisors, a role he has been in since the company’s inception. His exceptional familiarity with Chapter 9 of the HUD handbook allows Davis Affordable Housing Advisors to confidently develop reports that are both accurate and defensible to even the most critical reviewer. Brandon regularly attends Affordable Housing conferences nationwide in order to be a voice for rent comparability study work and to stay on top of the changing housing landscape. His background includes a decade of corporate level sales with a focus on customer service, sales management, and organization, all of which seamlessly translates to his role with Davis Valuation and associated companies.

Brandon received a bachelor's degree from the College of Mass Communications at Texas Tech University. Post graduate work includes hundreds of hours of appraisal related course work and housing seminars. Brandon holds an appraisal trainee license with the state of Texas and is active with the Appraisal Institute.

Logan R. Dorman

Logan joined Davis Valuation as a residential appraiser specialist. Previously, he began his appraisal career with Huey Davis Group, proving himself instrumental in the company’s growth of their residential service line. He is currently an appraiser trainee working to be a Certified Residential Appraiser within the state of Texas by March of 2018. Logan graduated from the School of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Subsequent to graduation, Logan started his career in real estate with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in their commercial leasing division. He is an avid investor in real estate and owns multiple investment properties

brian a. kriss

Brian is an appraiser trainee working towards his general certification, with a concentration in residential appraisal. Brian started his career with Huey Davis Group, before accepting his current position at Davis Valuation. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Brian has worked on many residential and commercial construction projects and most recently served as a construction and project engineer with AVCON Aviation Consultants. During his career, Brian gained experience in project estimates and quantity take off, as well as construction scheduling and planning. He uses his vast knowledge of construction materials and processes, as a valuable foundation to his appraisal career. Brian holds an appraisal trainee license with the state of Texas, and is expected to be fully certified by early-2018.

Stephanie Fowler

Stephanie works as the Director of Operations for Davis Valuation, managing the day-to-day elements of client communication and handling the state certification process.  Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University in 2000.  After graduation, she spent the first 12 years of her career working her way up in a complex and dynamic environment to a Tier 3 position as a Systems Administrator for AT&T.  As she started a family, Stephanie was ready for a more rewarding position with flexibility options, which would allow her more time with her husband and two kids, while still utilizing her management and customer support skills.  Her inclination to create and maintain good relationships with clients, attention to detail, and organizational skills have brought her to this very integral role with Davis Valuation.
